# Tiers

### Introduction to SatoPAD Tiers

The SatoPAD Tiers system is a fundamental component of the SatoPAD platform, representing various levels of user commitment and participation. This tier system is intricately linked to the balance of xSAPI tokens, which users obtain by staking SAPI or SAPI-LP tokens. Each tier in the SatoPAD ecosystem offers distinct benefits and privileges, making it essential for users to understand the criteria and advantages of each level.

### The Five SatoPAD Tiers

**Overview of Tiers**

SatoPAD features five distinct tiers, each with its own set of requirements and benefits. These tiers are designed to cater to a wide range of users, from those just starting out to the most dedicated and invested members of the community.

**Token Distribution Among Tiers**

The distribution of tokens to each tier is determined by several factors, including the total funds raised, the number of participants in each tier, and SatoPAD's pool weight algorithms. Whitelist winners from each tier receive a proportional share of the total funds raised, based on their tier.

#### Token Sale Phase and Allocation

The token sale phase for projects on SatoPAD typically lasts between 24 to 72 hours, providing investors sufficient time to prepare funds and purchase their allocated tokens. However, failure to contribute during this period results in the loss of allocation. Unsold tokens post-sale are subject to various options by the project team, such as airdrops, a second sales round, or availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

### Member and Community Pools

**Member Pool**

The Member Pool is exclusive to users who have achieved a specific tier rank within the SatoPAD ecosystem. Each tier rank grants unique advantages and preferences in the Member Pool, encouraging users to stake more SAPI tokens to attain higher tiers.

**Community Pool**

A portion of the pool is reserved for the general public, known as the Community Pool. Participation in this pool is open to all SatoPAD platform users. Due to high demand, securing a spot on the whitelist for the Community Pool can be challenging. Participants are required to complete certain social tasks to increase their chances in the whitelist lottery draw.

### Goal and Continuous Assessment

SatoPAD aims to establish a predictable and equitable system that incentivizes users to acquire and hold SAPI tokens. The platform continually evaluates its distribution model to ensure it remains functional, competitive, and beneficial for all community members. User feedback is highly valued in this ongoing process of refinement and improvement.
